The Tift County Foundation has access to every AR test, thanks to Renaissance Learning Center and the Tift County Public School system.

Where?

The testing place was at the United Way (Betty Roach) Building, 211 W. 4th Street, behind the Post Office.

When?

Testing for 2014 began on June 10 and ended July 17. Tests were taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Books with AR designation were checked outfrom the Tift County Public Library or the Coastal Plain Regional Library, then tests were taken at the Reading Center.
Books were not available at the testing site.

What Book Are You Reading?

Check out books with AR designation from the Tift County Public Library or Coastal Plain Regional Library. When you are finished with a book, visit the Reading Center to take the test.

Books will not be available at the testing site.

Summer AR Testing 2014 Goals

Help schools meet the goal of earning $1000 for more books and tests.
How? The following criteria must be met:

  • 25% of students must earn 5 points.
  • 50% of faculty must earn 10 points.
  • 25% of parents, friends, relatives, etc., must pass one test on any book -
    even a half point book!

  • The first goal reached will earn $250.
  • The second goal reached will earn $600.
  • The third goal reached will earn $1000.

Schools earn 10¢ for each point reached.
